Full Time About the
Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Fitter/Mechanic to join our team. This position involves the assembly, fabrication, and maintenance of fuel system equipment, including stationary fuel pump skids, cabinets, and related gas station systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fabricate fuel system equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards Interpret and work from verbal instructions, blueprints, and technical schematics Perform mechanical diagnostics, assembly, and repair of various systems Assist with general shop maintenance and support production operations as needed Wire and troubleshoot electrical control systems (120-220V) Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in assembly and repair Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics Experience with electrical wiring systems (120-220V) Welding and fabrication experience is an asset, but not required High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience with fuel equipment maintenance or similar industry preferred
Requirements:
Valid driver's license (required) Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and access tanks or confined spaces Comfortable working in varying weather and environmental conditions Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Must supply personal tools and be willing to acquire additional tools as needed Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Self-motivated with a positive, customer-focused attitude
Travel & Schedule:
Travel up to 12 weeks per year (typically less than 6 weeks) Home most weekends Availability for occasional after-hours or emergency service calls May be required to take a company vehicle home for efficiency
Training & Development:
Willingness to complete company-sponsored training and certifications, including but not limited to: Confined space entry Flow meter calibration Manufacturer-specific training

Details:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience Opportunities for training and certification provided; opportunity for pay increases after training. Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Fuel equipment maintenance or related experience a plus; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. Must be able to do hands on work.
