Welder Job Description Join our team as a skilled welder focusing on TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick This role is instrumental in supporting the automotive and heavy-duty industries by ensuring high-quality, low-production welding and repair welding from robotic operations Job Responsibilities Perform manual TIG welding on stainless steel and sheet metal hospital beds Operate, set, and maintain manual production welding equipment to join metal components as per customer specifications Monitor quality, process paperwork, and maintain a clean work area to meet fast-paced production requirements Run robotic weld machines or Continuous Resistance Welders when manual welding demand is low Essential Skills 2 years of experience in TIG welding, focusing on round welding 1+ year of experience in welding stainless steel with thicknesses of 16 gauge 1+ year of experience in blueprint reading, including weld symbols and material identification Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
