Job Title:

Welder Fitter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter for an exciting opportunity on 1st shift, Monday through Friday. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints to perform the initial fit-up of welded assemblies. You will communicate directly with engineering when required and work with minimum supervision, contributing to the creation of high-quality assemblies.

SHIFT:

6am-6pm Monday-Friday Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, both detail and assembly. Perform initial fit-up of welded assemblies using pre-cut steel plates. Build assembly structures which are then passed on to other welders for further welding. Operate overhead cranes with up to 50-ton capacity and fork trucks. Communicate directly with engineering to ensure accuracy and quality. Manually lift 20-25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints with at least 5 years of experience. 5 years of experience in Flux Core and MIG welding. 5 years of fitting experience with 1-inch plate fitting and welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice to have experience with heavy plate welding. Proficient use of micrometers and precision measuring instruments. Why Work Here?
