Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials including sheet metal Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks. Inspect completed work for adherence to ASME codes and standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. set up and operate press brake to bend 1 off jobs as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Operate forklifts and cranes safely when necessary to move materials or equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, on Aluminum. low carbon teel and Stainless steel Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements. 5+ years experience welding, fitting or fabricating Ability to perform basic math calculations related to welding tasks. Experience with plasma cutting, soldering, machining, and assembly processes is preferred. Experience with bending and shape cutting preffered Strong understanding of safety practices related to welding Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
