Job Description

YBI Recruiting is hiring 2nd Shift Welders on behalf of one of our premier manufacturing partners—an industry leader that designs and builds equipment powering the nation's infrastructure. From utilities to telecommunications and other essential services, this organization is known for American-made quality, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate, fit, and cut materials to meet design and blueprint requirements Perform GMAW and/or FCAW welding using a range of arc and gas welding equipment Trim, file, grind, sand, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces with hand and power tools Operate and maintain all equipment within the assigned work area Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using shop math and layout techniques Inspect assemblies and components to confirm they meet required specifications Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders accurately Utilize basic hand tools and specialized equipment as needed Perform rework on components when necessary Keep daily time records and complete any other required documentation Cross-train and assist in other work areas as production demands require Provide training and support to new and existing team members Follow all safety, environmental, and quality protocols, including proper use and care of PPE Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for tools and equipment Uphold company core values in all work activities Requirements High school diploma or GED Welding technical degree/certificate or a minimum of 2 years of relevant welding experience (candidates in progress may be considered) Must obtain
AWS D.1.1
weld certification within three months of hire Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics Ability to read, write, and understand written instructions and materials Basic proficiency with computers
Benefits Compensation Range:
$25.15 - $28.23 + $ 1.50 shift differential! Pay dependent on experience, education, and qualifications.
