Why Join Us? $1,000 Retention Bonus after 1 year of employment Average 10-20 hours of overtime per month Stable schedule with long weekends Competitive pay and robust benefits starting quickly What You'll Do As a Welder at TBEI, you'll play a hands-on role in building high-quality truck bodies, hoists, and fabricated components. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate welding equipment to weld and assemble truck bodies, hoists, and fabricated parts (including robotic welding equipment, as applicable). Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and measuring devices. Make welding equipment adjustments as needed to meet quality and production standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow and remaining flexible to support team needs. Rotate between machines and jigs within the job area as required by scheduling, team needs, or safety recommendations. What We're Looking For Skills & Qualifications Ability to perform basic math for measuring, assembling, and problem-solving. Ability to demonstrate welding ability and successfully pass required welding certifications. Ability to read and understand complicated instructions, blueprints, and work orders. Basic computer skills for simple data entry. Ability and willingness to learn and operate multiple machines and jigs. Physical Requirements Ability to manually move products and materials up to 50 pounds through regular physical activity, including climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending. Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time. Work is primarily performed on concrete surfaces, ladders, and inside dump bodies.
Pay & Schedule Wages:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour $1.00/hour stainless steel premium (when applicable)
Pay Type:
Non-exempt, hourly (bi-weekly pay)
Schedule:
Four (4) 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday Overtime as needed on
Fridays Location:
