Job Title:

Welder Job Description Engage in MIG welding on mild steel by following blueprints to weld and assemble products. Prepare materials for welding using fixtures and ensure the proper handling and movement of finished products within the shop using a forklift, if trained. Responsibilities Weld and assemble products by following blueprints. Prepare materials for welding using fixtures. Identify and move finished products to the proper location within the shop using a forklift, if trained. Operate manual wire feed welders and automatic welders using appropriate welding wire, heat, arc, speed, depth, and weld bead size. Perform proficient welds in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and down. Conduct inspections as required by standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Ability to read and follow blueprints. Experience in welding and fabrication. Skilled in TIG welding and flux core. Ability to weld stainless steel and fitting. Competent in blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with manual and automatic welders. Familiarity with operating forklifts. Proficiency in all welding positions. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Litchfield, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
