1st Shift MIG Welder

Job Title:

MIG Welder Job Description Join a specialized team in a company renowned for designing and building custom polyurethane foaming fixtures since 1983. We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to contribute to the fabrication of parts on machines ranging from 400,000 to 1,000,000 foaming units. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding 75% of the time, with the remaining portion being TIG welding. Weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials. Work with structural I beams ranging from 5/8 inch up to 2 inches. Interpret and weld from blueprints, including material fabrication. Prepare weld surfaces as required. Follow safe operating procedures for overhead cranes and forklifts. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience with MIG welding. Experience in welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials. Ability to weld from blueprints and fabricate materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with stainless steel fitting. Blueprint reading and grinding skills. Sheet metal work. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Documentation experience for jobs and orders. Why Work Here?
