Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cutter and Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting out doors, windows, and other components to precise specifications on shipping containers as well as some welding on the containers. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine cutting and welding requirements. Use grinders with cut off wheels, grinding disc, and hand tools to accurately cut shipping containers as well as fabricating frames. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) techniques to join metal components securely. Operate power tools and forklifts safely and efficiently during fabrication processes. Measure materials precisely using tape measures and basic math skills to ensure accurate cuts and welds. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Preferred experience with hands-on fabrication and welding tasks. Willing to train the right individual. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and basic machining processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements.
