$28-30/hr About the Role Watson Custom Tanks is seeking a skilled Class A Welder/Fabricator to join our growing production team. This role focuses on high‑quality stainless steel tank fabrication using TIG and Pulsed MIG welding . We are looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and works well in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality TIG and Pulsed MIG welds with minimal defects Layout and fabricate tank components including heads and shells Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and measurements Use weld gauges and complete weld, heat code, and traveler documentation Operate hand tools, overhead cranes, and equipment safely Work in confined spaces as needed Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Support team members and assist with additional tasks as assigned Qualifications 3-5 years of fabrication and stainless steel welding experience Ability to pass: 6G ASME pipe TIG test 2G ASME plate Pulsed MIG test 3G (downhill) ASME plate Pulsed MIG test Strong fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude Proficient with blueprints, tape measures, and weld symbols ASME shop experience preferred Welding certification preferred; high school diploma preferred, not required Skills & Expectations Highly dependable and quality-focused Strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Professional communication with coworkers and leadership Physical & Safety Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Bend, kneel, reach, and work in confined spaces Must wear safety glasses and steel‑toe boots
