Job Description

DTC. Workforce Management is looking for motivated, energetic, enthusiastic Welders to join our team at Washington, Mo Duties and responsibilities :
Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding tasks according to specifications and blueprints
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, torches, and plasma cutters
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Use various tools and equipment such as cranes, forklifts, micrometers, calipers, and press brake machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures or components using welding techniques
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.
  • Cross-training and knowledge share with peers.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as required/assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months or more prior MIG/TIG welding experience preferred.
  • Certification preferred, not required
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Demonstrates shop math skills . Satisfactorily completes company approved work sample demonstrating expertise for welding according to company standards.
  • Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
  • Previous work-related experience and/or any vocational training, preferred
