Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Metal Fabricator-Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, ensuring they meet strict safety and quality standards. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements. Use various hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding techniques to join metal components securely. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and fabricated parts around the shop or construction sites. Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Fabricate ductwork, piping, structural frameworks, or custom metal assemblies following ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven construction site experience with hands-on fabrication and welding tasks. Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment. Knowledge of rigging procedures, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly processes in manufacturing or construction environments. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred. Understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to metal fabrication projects. Ability to work safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors while following all safety guidelines.
