Monday through Friday 1st Shift 6:00 AM until production is complete Mandatory overtime is required based on production demands. Candidates must be willing to work extended hours and occasional Saturdays when needed.

Job Description:

US Enhanced is hiring for a Confidential Company in Archdale, NC that is seeking 3 to 4 experienced Aluminum Welders to join their growing fabrication team. This is a temp to perm opportunity for skilled welders who have recent hands on experience welding aluminum using push pull and spool gun systems. We are looking for individuals who can step into production quickly and produce quality welds with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Miller 255 and Miller 252 welding equipment, reading blueprints, interpreting metric measurements, fitting parts, and performing high quality aluminum welds in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

Weld aluminum components using push pull and spool gun systems Operate Miller 255 and Miller 252 welding equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Fit, align, and prepare parts for welding according to specifications Read and work with metric measurements accurately Cut, grind, prep, and assemble materials prior to welding Use fabrication tools including tape measures, calipers, protractors, band saws, and drill presses Inspect finished welds for quality, appearance, and structural integrity Troubleshoot fabrication issues and work with team members to meet production goals Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area This position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.

Requirements:

Recent aluminum welding experience is required Experience welding aluminum with push pull guns and spool guns is required Experience operating Miller 255 and Miller 252 welding equipment is strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings Ability to read and work with metric measurements Experience fitting and preparing parts for welding Ability to pass a hands on weld test Ability to accurately read a tape measure Strong fabrication and shop math skills Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift Strong attendance record and dependable work history Must be willing to work mandatory overtime when required Must be able to work 1st shift starting at 7:00 AM and remain until production is complete

Important:

Only candidates with relevant aluminum welding experience will be considered. This is NOT a training opportunity. Entry level welders and candidates without aluminum welding experience will not be considered.
