Experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder
  • Hiring Immediately Matthews, NC Searching for an Experienced
METAL WELDER/FABRICATOR
to join an established, profitable growing team in Matthews North Carolina for a world leader in the manufacturing of Heavy Equipment. Perks and Benefits of the Metal Fabricator/Welder
  • Hiring Immediately PAY $24 to $29/hour (Depending on Experience) Work hours : The position has regular and consistent, 50 hours/week
  • day shift, Monday through Friday.
No off-shift hours.
Specific Work hours:
Monday
  • Friday (6:00 am

  • Immediate vesting Duties & Responsibilities of the Metal Fabricator/Welder
  • Hiring Immediately Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Setting up components for welding according to specifications Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Accurately complete required tasks in the most efficient way possible to minimize discrepancies and re-work.
Conserve materials and resources to stay in-line with job budgets Immediately acclimate yourself to the company, its products, and equipment. Qualifications of the Metal Fabricator/Welder
  • Hiring Immediately Minimum of 5 years' experience as a metal welder/fabricator All candidates will be required to pass a knowledge and weld test.
Bring appropriate welding equipment to the weld test is a plus. Proven experience as a welder using a variety of welding equipment and procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing Strong attention to detail Maintain good attendance and reliability and work required hours Ability to lift 50 pounds, and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
