In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks on stainless steel components used in various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards are met, contributing to the successful completion of complex structural elements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand technical excellence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform stainless steel welding using TIG and stick welding techniques to meet project specifications and industry standards. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components. Conduct pipe threading, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly tasks with precision while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes. Measure components accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while following all safety protocols related to construction site operations and welding procedures. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving ductwork, structural supports, or mechanical assemblies in compliance with project timelines Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in welding stainless steel structures and components. Certified welder with expertise in
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding processes; certification must be current and recognized by industry standards. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently; familiarity with schematics related to piping or ductwork is preferred. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to stainless steel fabrication and welding practices. Familiarity with blueprint reading for sheet metal projects. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while maintaining safety standards; physical stamina for long shifts is essential.
