6:00 AM-4:30 PM A manufacturing company in Columbus is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join their 1st shift production team. This role involves welding, cutting and fabricating metal components ranging from small assemblies to large structural builds while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, layouts and welding symbols Fit, assemble, and tack parts in preparation for welding Perform MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum and other structural materials Use flame-cutting and hand welding equipment to fabricate and repair components Monitor welding process to prevent warping, distortion or damage Perform first-piece and ongoing quality inspections per standards Set up and adjust welding equipment as required Operate forklifts if certified and assist with material handling Change gas tanks and perform basic equipment maintenance Follow all safety procedures and wear required

PPE Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of welding experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, etc.) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:
