Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in MIG welding to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction and manufacturing projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques to create durable, high-quality metal structures. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in construction site environments, a strong understanding of blueprint reading, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Duties Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components, including sheet metal, ductwork, and structural steel, adhering to project specifications and safety standards Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication processes Maintain strict standards during welding procedures to ensure quality and safety compliance Conduct inspections using schematics and visual checks to verify weld integrity and identify any defects or areas needing rework Qualifications Proven experience working in manufacturing environments with a focus on welding applications Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; familiarity with TIG welding is a plus Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Familiarity with standards relevant to welding practices and fabrication safety guidelines Join our team if you're ready to bring your welding expertise into a vibrant environment where craftsmanship meets innovation!
