1" plate welded with 1/16" FCAW in the 1G position to be UT tested 1" plate welded with 1/16" FCAW in the 3G position for side bends Core Responsibilities Proficiently perform welding in the flat position Proficiently operate torch Lay-out and mark weld points Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using measuring devices Complete and maintain all required records Proficiently perform carbon arcing Perform multi-pass welding Coach and train lower level welders Proficiently read blueprints Maintain attendance within acceptable standards Safety Activities Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
