In this role, you will be responsible for executing complex welding projects with precision and efficiency across diverse projects and materials. Your expertise will ensure that all welded structures meet strict safety standards, industry codes, and project specifications. Duties Perform advanced MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding on various materials including sheet metal, ductwork, pipes, and structural components. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication and assembly tasks. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape, cut, and assemble metal components. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Execute rigging, pipe threading, mechanical assembly, soldering, and plasma cutting with a focus on safety and quality standards. Adhere to ASME codes & standards during welding and fabrication processes to guarantee compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate tasks involving crane operation, forklift handling, machining, and schematics interpretation for efficient project execution. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in welding within manufacturing or industrial environments. Expertise in
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding techniques; experience with welding preferred. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Certification in welding or fabrication disciplines is highly desirable; Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery safely; experience with schematics interpretation is a plus. Minimum 10 years applicable experience

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
