This position requires mainly shop work but some field work will be required at times. Candidates should be certified, or have been certified in the recent past. Candidates MUST have at least 3-5 years welding experience, and will need to work with minimal supervision, direction. This is a year-round, full-time position. Candidates will need to be able to work well with clients, fellow employees, and management on a daily basis in person, and on-site.
Position Requirements:
  • 3G/4G Flux-Core certifications in either 232 or Corshield 8
  • Certified in
FCAW 3G/4G
  • SMAW 7018 3G/4G
  • General steel fabrication experience
  • Blueprint reading and layout skills
  • Good customer service skills and ability to get along well with other
  • Taking measurements
  • Welding
  • Cutting
  • Torching
  • Lifting
  • Assembly
  • Layout
  • Using heavy machinery
  • Driving a forklift
  • Ability to work overtime during heavy production times.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • clean DMV
  • Candidates must be OK with tight spaces and heights, and various weather conditions.
  • Candidates will be required to provide basic tools.
