This role focuses on TIG welding and pipe preparation, including reading blueprints, fitting up piping spools, and operating advanced programmable welding machines. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in pipe fabrication. Responsibilities Execute TIG welding on pipe assemblies ranging from ½" through 12" diameter Interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to accurately prep and fit pipe spools Maintain quality standards through proper joint preparation, fit up, and inspection. Operate and monitor advanced Semi-automated TIG welding systems Assist in staging, aligning, and positioning pipe for welding operations Maintain workflow efficiency within the semi-automated welding area Safely operate a forklift for material handling Operate overhead Jib cranes to move and position materials Independently follow instructions and carry out job tasks with minimal supervision Perform other duties as assigned to support operations Requirements Must pass a MIG or TIG weld test Knowledge of ASME standards preferred Ability to read and interpret Pipe Spool Drawings, and weld symbols Able to lift 50 lbs.
