Today, the company proudly serves a wide range of customers with its latest line of steel dump bodies, rear-load packers, and roll-off hoists.

Mandatory Overtime Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding steel components used in the production of high-quality truck bodies, roll-off hoists, and other heavy-duty equipment. You must be able to read blueprints, operate welding and cutting tools, and follow safety protocols to produce consistent, high-quality welds. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate steel bodies, subframes, and components by cutting, fitting, and welding various grades and thicknesses of metal.
  • Clean, grind, and prepare surfaces for welding to ensure proper joint quality.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Use tools such as angle grinders, torches, magnetic drills, tape measures, and levels.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials to spec using saws, torches, or plasma cutters.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and fixtures safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and verify completed welds for strength, appearance, and accuracy.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE, respirators (may require clean-shaven face), and equipment lockout procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.
  • Complete all required documentation such as production reports, time logs, and inspection sheets.
  • Assist in training new welders or team members as needed.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, weld symbols, and fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and measuring tools
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in varying positions
  • Welding certification preferred (but not required)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality work and teamwork
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to heat, sparks, and fabrication equipment

  • May require occasional overtime or Saturday work depending on production needs
