MIG Pipe Welder NY $150 Per Diem

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced MIG Pipe Welder to join our industrial team in New York . This position involves pipe welding, fabrication, repair, and installation work in an industrial or marine-related environment. Candidates must be highly skilled, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced job site environment. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on pipes and related components Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other industrial-grade metals as required Read and interpret blueprints, pipe drawings, specifications, and weld symbols Perform pipe fitting, fabrication, repair, and modification work Weld in various positions, including vertical and overhead, when required Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting pipes Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with project specifications Follow OSHA and job site safety protocols at all times Work in industrial, construction, or outdoor job site environments Pass required weld tests prior to hire Qualifications 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred Experience with MIG pipe welding required Ability to read pipe drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols Experience welding in multiple positions Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when required Knowledge of pipe fabrication and installation standards Must have own basic welding tools, if required Reliable transportation Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Skills Required Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces Ability to stand for extended periods Basic equipment maintenance knowledge Strong attention to detail Strong safety mindset Ability to work independently or as part of a team Compensation $16/hour $150 per diem for eligible workdays Per diem is paid separately and is not part of hourly wages Opportunity for overtime Work Conditions Job site location: New York Industrial, construction, or outdoor work environment Pre-employment physical required Drug screening required Must follow all safety requirements and site procedures Benefits Health insurance Paid PTO How to Apply Apply through Indeed or send your experience details.
