  • 6-4:30pm Days
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday (work 3 days, paid for 4!) Pay
  • $20•30/hour, based on experience What you can expect each day: Create quality welds according to blueprints or sample parts Set up welding equipment and welder for metal being used Align components using calipers, rulers, clamp pieces or premade fixtures Build tabletop and permanent fixtures Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded Change wire, gas tanks, and all other consumable parts as needed Examine weld for bead size, quality, and other specifications Perform inspections to quality standards to assure the completed part is correct Set up, regulate, maintain and make minor repairs on welding equipment •The marginal functions of this position have not been included.
Employee is required to perform any work-related duty assigned by management
  • What the position requires: Ability to read blueprints Must be able to read and understand job orders, drawings/blueprints and other data and perform all the necessary calculations Strong communication skills Able to follow written and verbal instructions Capable of meeting assigned deadlines Mechanical aptitude
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred Experienced in TIG welding light gauge Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel in thicknesses ranging from 0.020 to 0.125 Experience in TIG welding and MIG welding various material types, preferred. 2-3 years of experience preferred
