Job Description
Welder We are hiring a skilled Welder to join our team in Akron, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for welding various metal components together to create structural and functional pieces. You will use various tools and techniques to ensure the quality and accuracy of your welds.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques
- Set up and operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Welder preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Physical stamina and dexterity for working with heavy materials and equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
