Job Description

Welder A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing metal parts by welding them together according to specifications. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ and full-time employment without requiring any previous experience or English proficiency. Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welds as needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and procedures
  • Clean, maintain, and store welding tools and equipment properly
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
  • Familiarity with different types of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
  • Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Welding from a recognized institution or vocational program
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to welding
