Job Description

We are looking for a talented Fabrication Welder to work the first shift at our expanding facility located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Role Summary As a Fabricator II, you will manage diverse assembly and fabrication duties, contributing to the entire lifecycle from initial design to the finished product. Your daily tasks will include utilizing specialized machinery and analyzing technical schematics to create superior metal parts and assemblies. Primary Duties Construct and join parts in alignment with established production standards and requirements Analyze and translate complex engineering and fabrication schematics Utilize various fabrication tools such as MIG/TIG welders, CNC plasma cutters, grinders, and band saws to improve production output Ensure the safe and effective operation of forklifts and other common workshop machinery to support team logistics Propose workflow enhancements and work alongside colleagues to put effective solutions into practice Contribute to a tidy, structured, and secure workspace to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team Requirements Completion of high school or a GED, or a background demonstrating comparable professional experience Practical knowledge in welding, fabrication, or the installation of equipment in the field Proficiency in deciphering and applying information from fabrication blueprints and technical drawings Competence in handling standard shop tools and operating forklifts to assist with daily operations Capacity to handle physical requirements, including lifting weights up to 50 lbs Availability for a full-time schedule, which may occasionally require working on weekends Core Proficiencies Interpreting Blueprints Equipment and Technical Tools MIG Welding Systems TIG Welding Systems Stick Welding Systems Compensation and Perks Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Paid time off and observed holidays
