Job Description

Looking for TIG Welder on 1st shift Pay $18+ /hr
Hours:
8AM - 4:30PM Mon - Fri Welding role responsible for TIG and MIG welding aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel components according to blueprint specifications and inspection requirements. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 1 to 3 years of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience TIG welding experience MIG welding experience Experience welding aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read and interpret weld symbols Experience setting up and adjusting welding equipment for varying material types and thicknesses Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to frequently lift up to 100 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Preferred Skills Experience performing first-piece inspections Experience performing in-process inspections Experience preparing materials through grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting Experience changing welding wire, consumables, and gas tanks Experience performing simple welding equipment repairs Forklift operation experience Job Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel components Weld components according to blueprint specifications Set up welding equipment, including voltage, current, gas flow, torch angle, and tungsten diameter or sharpness Adjust welding setup based on material type and thickness Inspect welds for quality and accuracy Perform first-piece inspections Perform in-process inspections Prepare materials for welding through grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting Change welding wire, consumables, and gas tanks as needed Monitor welding equipment and report maintenance needs Perform simple equipment repairs as required Cross-train in other areas of the plant as needed Operate forklift when trained and required Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
