What You'll Do Follow safety regulations (PPE) Pass 2G FCAW weld certification Interpret blueprints, follow weld procedures and measurements to plan layouts Weld small and large components Use overhead cranes Weld components in flat and horizontal position Welders are also responsible for studying blueprints related to the items they will work on, ensuring that all needed materials are available, and maintaining the welding tools they use.

Welding Certificates, Blueprint Reading Additional Position Competencies (max 4):
Agility, Communication, Problem-Solving Technical Skills:
Mechanically Inclined, Advanced Blueprint Interpretation, Math Skills Physical Requirements (Approximate time spent to be included in physical demands such a walking or bending, specific lifting requirements (lbs.), and/or other requirements such as vision or hearing.
Standing, Walking, Kneeling:
