Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and welding aluminum using a spool gun.Responsibilities:
- Weld aluminum gutter facia into canopies per shop drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and parts needed to complete workorder requirements
- Utilize brake press and shear to bend parts needed for workorder completion
- Assist with unloading and racking materials received
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
Requirements:
- Proven experience in welding and fabricating aluminum
- Proficiency in spool gun MIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Familiarity using power tools, hand tools, measuring tools, press brake, shear
- Experience with forklift operation
- Capable of lifting 50+ pounds
- Able to show up consistently and reliably for work schedule
