Fabricator/Welder

About us Smith Security Safes is looking to hire a Fabricator/Welder to work within our fabrication facility in Weston, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding vault doors and safes. We place a priority on good attitude, good attendance and teamwork. We offer a very flexible schedule on 1st shift and the opportunity to learn various skills throughout the business. Smith Security Safes is a company located near Bowling Green, Ohio providing vault doors and safes to customers around the nation.

Responsibilities:

Understand the basic principles of metal fabrication and welding. Utilize hand and power tools to construct metal products. Use measuring instruments to lay out work pieces and align pieces for welding. Render accurate physical dimensions and tolerances using basic math. Demonstrate knowledge of metal fabrication & welding techniques. Be responsible for your own quality and workmanship. Work safely every day! Develop good interpersonal relationships with co-workers. Willingness to cross-train throughout various departments as needed.
