Welder ($17-$18/hr) Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to perform MIG welding on steel building materials. The ideal candidate will be experienced in producing high-quality metal buildings and proficient in various welding techniques. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel building materials. Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate metal structures. Execute production tasks for metal buildings. Utilize TIG welding, spray arc, and steel fabrication techniques. Ensure all welding work meets quality standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation. Knowledge of metal building production tasks. Skilled in welding techniques such as TIG welding and spray arc. Proficiency in steel fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications TIG, stick, and flux welding skills are a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a 1-hour lunch break, and then from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Occasionally, you may be required to work on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, averaging 54 hours per week. The work is performed in a manufacturing facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chickasha, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $28.00/hr.
