Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder/Metal Fabrication specialist. This role involves performing precise welding and fabrication tasks on piping systems, ductwork, and metal structures in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in multiple welding techniques, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication processes, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and industry codes such as ASME. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex projects that require mechanical knowledge, technical skill, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Key responsibilities include welding operations with MIG, TIG, FCAW, for the Muskogee area, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools. The role demands a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols, rigging procedures, pipe threading, plasma cutting, and the operation of fabrication equipment such as press brake machines. Candidates should possess excellent basic math skills for measurements and calculations, along with the ability to work efficiently within manufacturing or construction environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and fabrication requirements. Perform pipe welding using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <

Operate fabrication machinery including plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining tools for sheet metal work. Use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure accurate measurements and quality craftsmanship. Assist with rigging operations for lifting heavy components safely on construction sites or within manufacturing facilities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding fumes, fire hazards, and equipment handling. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving ductwork or piping systems while ensuring compliance with project timelines. Support basic math calculations necessary for fabrication dimensions and tolerances. Participate in continuous training on welding techniques, ASME codes & standards compliance, and new fabrication technologies. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities involving pipe welding or metal fabrication. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION

Knowledge of mechanical principles related to pipe threading, assembly, rigging operations, and machining. Experience operating fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines.
