Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (summer hours may vary)

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Drug Test & Background Check Required Steel-toe boots, welding hood, and gloves required
Position Overview:
People Source is hiring two skilled MIG Welders for a fabrication shop in OKC. This position primarily involves welding, fabricating, and repairing steel pipe based on plans and specifications. Applicants must pass a welding test and have their own hood and gloves. Additional duties include supporting yard operations, performing facility maintenance, and operating heavy equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on carbon steel pipe and structural components Fabricate and install components based on work orders and blueprints Conduct quick repairs during equipment shutdowns Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment in a safe, professional manner Maintain welding equipment and related tools Complete welding assignments efficiently and with a focus on quality Assist with general yard duties including organizing materials and maintaining cleanliness Participate in inventory counts and ensure proper stock placement Follow OSHA standards, company safety policies, and proper PPE procedures Maintain accurate documentation for inspections and equipment checks
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years MIG welding experience Must pass welding test Must have personal welding gear (hood, gloves, steel-toe boots) Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding conditions Experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery is a plus Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or on a team Why Work with People Source?
