Full Job Description Summary of Position:
This role will be located in EL Reno, OK. The Fabricator/Welder is an integral member of the Fabrication Team responsible for fabricating and welding projects while maintaining quality craftsmanship to ensure that projects are delivered on time. The Fabricator/Welder III is the entry-level fabricators of the Fab Shop, they have knowledge of fabrication and welding processes and will receive on- the-job training to establish a clear understanding of the procedures and safe operation of the fabrication equipment. A Fabricator/Welder I is expected to be self-motivated and eager to learn more about a career in fabrication.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, and oxy-fuel torches. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding and metal fabrication. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS certification) is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in welding is a plus. Valid Driver's License Indicators & Attributes for

Primary Responsibilities:
Performing Welding Tasks:
Utilizing various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to assemble or repair metal structures and components according to provided instructions.
Fabricating Metal Parts:
Using cutting, bending, grinding, torching, measuring, fitting, and shaping equipment to fabricate metal parts and structures as per specifications.
Interpreting Technical Drawings:
Analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine material requirements, dimensions, and welding procedures.
Quality Inspection:
Inspecting welds and metalwork to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintaining welding equipment and tools, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance as necessary to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, or equipment damage.
Collaboration:
Working closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize fabrication processes and address technical challenges.
Professional Development:
Participating in ongoing training and development activities to enhance welding skills and stay updated on industry best practices and consistent with Liberty's procedures.
Physical Demands:
Being prepared to work in a shop environment with physically demanding conditions and able to lift 50 lbs.
Creativity and Adaptability:
Demonstrating creativity and adaptability to overcome obstacles encountered during fabrication processes.
Work Ethic:
Maintaining a strong work ethic to keep pace with the workflow of the shop.

Working Conditions/Environment:
Work will primarily indoors in a workshop or fabrication facility. This environment is typically equipped with machinery, tools, and equipment necessary for welding and fabrication tasks. Regularly be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Depending on project deadlines and workload, the employee may be required to work beyond regular business hours to meet production targets. Flexibility and willingness to accommodate overtime may be necessary.
Salary:
$22/HR - $42/HR Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
