MIG Welder Clackamas, OR Pay :
$24-$27/hour Job Overview We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our team in Clackamas, OR. This role involves fabricating and welding large air compressor frames using a variety of welding techniques and materials. Ideal candidates will have strong blueprint reading skills and experience working with both thick and thin gauge metals in a production or fabrication environment. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel using: .035 hard wire .045 FCAW Aluminum MIG wire Fabricate and assemble frames for large air compressors Read and interpret blueprints to accurately fit and weld components Weld materials ranging from 1/2-inch thick steel to thin gauge sheet metal Work at heights, including performing welds from 6-foot ladders Maintain quality and consistency in a production welding environment Required Qualifications Proven experience with MIG welding (hard wire and FCAW) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience fitting and fabricating metal components Comfortable working with a variety of material thicknesses Ability to work safely at heights when required
Schedule Day Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Swing Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30
AM Training:
