This is a shop position working with structural steel, plate, and miscellaneous metal projects. We are looking for dependable individuals who can read plans, fabricate accurately, and take pride in quality work.
Available Shifts:
We offer a 4-day or 3-day work week. Shift 1 - 4/10 schedule (M-TH) Shift 2 - 3/12 schedule & a shift differential (FR-SU)
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld structural and misc steel components Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints MIG weld structural steel and plate Layout, fit, and assemble parts prior to welding Operate shop equipment such as saws, ironworkers, drills, and grinders Maintain quality standards and meet production deadlines Qualifications (Required): Current preference to strong fabricators 3+ years of hands-on experience in steel fitting, welding, and fabrication Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Proficiency with MIG welding Reliable and able to work safely in a fab shop environment Preferred (Not Required): Familiarity with AISC standards and structural steel codes Experience with carpentry Experience operating plasma tables, press brakes, shears, and related equipment Ability to assist with deliveries and material handling
