Centerline Drilling Inc. - 4200 SW Empire Drive, Prineville, OR 97754
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Wage:
$25+/hour, depending on experience About Us Centerline Drilling is a construction company that designs, builds, and maintains many of our own tools and equipment in-house. Our shop fabricates and rebuilds heavy-duty tooling used in the field, and we take pride in producing durable, high-quality equipment that stands up to tough jobsite conditions. Position Overview We're looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our shop team. This position involves fabricating new tools and components as well as rebuilding and reinforcing existing tooling made from heavy-gauge steel. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills in MIG, TIG, and Arc processes and can produce clean, reliable welds that hold up under demanding use. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble heavy-gauge steel tools, frames, and components Rebuild and reinforce existing tooling and equipment Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding with consistent quality Read and interpret fabrication drawings or plans Cut, fit, and weld metal to precise measurements Operate shop tools including grinders, torches, saws, and welders Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding Experience working with heavy-gauge steel (1" and thicker) Ability to read and follow fabrication drawings Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and with others Experience fabricating or repairing tools, equipment, or heavy-duty parts Forklift and telehandler experience Why Join Us At Centerline Drilling, we work hard and play hard.
