Temp-to-Hire Welder II Job Description:

The Welder II is responsible for producing high-quality welds that support the prefabrication of exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings. This role requires independent work, adherence to welding codes, and the ability to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

Performing MIG welding to fabricate wall panels according to specifications Applying proper assembly techniques to ensure structural integrity Reading and interpreting shop drawings and welding instructions Maintaining compliance with AWS welding codes Assisting in troubleshooting welding or assembly issues Collaborating with team members and supporting junior welders as needed Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Qualifications for

Welder II:

High School diploma or GED 5+ years of MIG welding experience (can include a combination of vocational education and work experience) Experience in a manufacturing environment Trade school or vocational education in construction/carpentry or general carpentry experience Current

AWS D1.1

GMAW and/or SMAW certifications Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions Additional Requirements for
