Life Insurance Job Description:
As a Welder you would be welding thin metal pieces and structures. You would also use fabrication equipment and check the quality of your work.
Responsibilities:
Weld and assemble metal pieces and structures to meet specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Use different equipment including saws, grinders, and welding machines Perform quality checks on finished items to ensure they meet the proper standards Wear proper PPE at all times to remain safe Assist in other areas as needed
Education:
High School High School Diploma or GED Experience:
24 months 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience welding thin gauge metals
Physical:
Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) Standing / Walking Repetitive Motion Bending / Stooping /
Kneeling Skills:
TIG and MIG welding Blueprints and schematics Understanding of metal types and thicknesses Basic math Stick welding (preferred)
