Pipe Welder

We have an immediate need for 2nd shift pipe welders and a leadman in fabrication shop in Blythewood, SC. Standard hours will be (5-10's) 4:00pm-2:30pm for 2nd with optional Saturdays. Training will be on days (6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday) for roughly the first two months. Welders and leadman will be required to pass the following: Weld testing requirements: Four (4) side bends per test

TIG:

6G-2" XXH

• 3-hour max
• no grinding after fit up inspection

GMAW:

3G

• 3/8" plate
• 2-hour maximum
• grinding of tie-ins and high spots is allowed, though any individual area of grinding beyond approximately 1" is not acceptable GMAW‑

STT:

Root (vertical down) GMAW‑

P:

Fill and cap (vertical up) Pay will be $33 for the welders while on 1st, $35 for the welders on 2nd. $38 for the leadman while on 1st shift and $40 when moved to 2nd after training ($2 shift differential is paid for working 2nd).

NO PER DIEM PAID FOR THIS ROLE.
