Repair Rack Welder and Fitters | Columbia, SC | 2nd Shift Job description: We are seeking a skilled Welders and Fitters to join our team. The Fitters must be able to weld their own fits. Every candidate must pass a 3g weld test on carbon steel, and can arc gouge. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding pipes up to 120 inches in diameter, primarily using flux core welding techniques. Candidates should be able to back gouge and have experience welding boilers or pressure vessels, as these skills typically transfer well to the position. Welding will be focused on carbon steel, with stainless steel experience as a plus. Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on pipes up to 120 inches in diameter. Engage in some fitting tasks, with fitting or fabrication experience being advantageous. Execute back gouging and arc gouging effectively. Read and interpret tape measures accurately. Ensure high-quality welds on carbon steel, typically quarter inch to 1 inch in diameter. Be open to coaching and development to improve skills. Must Have Skills Flux core

• minimum 2 years experience Fitting

• minimum 6 months experience

• $32/hr Monday
• Friday 2nd Shift | 2:30pm
• 11pm Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47840.00
