Contract-to-Hire About the Company Our client is a growing industrial manufacturer specializing in large, modular heating and cooling systems used in arena stadiums, data centers, and pharmaceutical facilities. Their systems are built in a fabrication shop environment and shipped nationwide, offering welders steady, long-term work with no travel. Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Pipe Welder to join a fabrication shop in Georgetown, SC. This is a shop-based role focused on welding pipe for industrial equipment and modular assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong TIG pipe welding experience, is comfortable working from blueprints, and thrives in a production environment. Responsibilities Perform TIG pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings Fit, tack, and weld pipe spools and components to specification Maintain weld quality and consistency to shop and code standards Work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop environment Complete other duties as assigned Requirements 2+ years of pipe welding experience in an industrial or fabrication setting Strong TIG pipe welding experience Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications ASME or AWS welding experience or certifications Production or fabrication shop experience Ability to pass a pipe weld test Pay & Benefits Up to $30/hour, depending on experience and weld test results Steady, long-term shop work — no travel required Overtime available Benefits offered Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
