As a Welder Advanced Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding tasks to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures according to precise specifications and quality standards. You will apply your welding expertise to support production and maintenance operations while ensuring safety and efficiency in the work environment. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Greer, SC location on an On-site work schedule. (2nd shift 4pm
  • 2am M-TH) In this role, you will impact manufacturing operations by delivering high-quality welded assemblies that contribute to Honeywell's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform advanced welding operations including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate and repair metal parts and assemblies. Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant welds. Conduct quality inspections on welded components to verify adherence to dimensional and structural requirements. Maintain welding equipment and perform routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve welding processes and efficiency.

MUST HAVE
Proven experience performing advanced welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications. Experience conducting quality inspections and ensuring welds meet structural and dimensional standards. Ability to maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot basic operational issues. Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in welding operations.
WE VALUE
Technical certification or associate degree in welding technology or related field. 3+ years of experience in advanced welding roles within manufacturing or industrial settings. Knowledge of welding codes and standards such as
AWS 17.1
is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing production demands. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
