Job Description

Position Title:
MIG Welder Boretec Equipment LLC Inman South Carolina Job Type:
Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our team. The MIG Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience operating welding equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining a safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication. Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. Use grinders and other finishing tools to clean and finish welds. Maintain welding equipment and report repair needs. Follow all company safety policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with other production and fabrication tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous MIG welding experience required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication processes. Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and squares. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in varying temperatures. Preferred Qualifications Welding certification or equivalent. Experience with fabrication, fitting, and metalworking equipment. Forklift experience is a plus. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Health insurance. Paid time off and holidays.
