Job Description

Job Description:
Perform weld preparation, fabrication, and finishing operations on thin-gauge steel components used in livestock agricultural products. Operate MIG and flux-core welding equipment to produce high-quality welds that meet or exceed company standards. Set up welding machines and select appropriate wire, filler materials, and gas settings. Position, align, and secure parts using fixtures, clamps, or jigs. Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. Inspect completed welds visually and with measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications. Safely operate grinders, torches, and other power tools to clean and finish welded assemblies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and flux-core (FCAW) welding processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production drawings. Skill in setting and adjusting welding parameters (amperage, voltage, wire feed speed, etc.) for varying material thicknesses.
