Welder Job Description Join our team as a Welder on the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. This role involves welding with a focus on Mig Welding, requiring skills in flat, uphill, and downhill welding. The position offers a supportive and dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities Perform Mig Welding, including flat, uphill, and downhill techniques. Participate in a weld test scheduled between Monday and Thursday. Collaborate with the foreman to ensure quality and efficiency in welding tasks. Engage in a short interview process post-weld test. Essential Skills Proficiency in Mig Welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with flux core welding. Knowledge of TCAT welding techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Intermediate welding skills are acceptable; training is provided. No resume required; weld test and short interview are essential. Why Work Here? The foreman is flexible with scheduling to accommodate necessary tests and interviews. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
