Job Description
Structural Welder- Certified/Experienced in Flux Core Columbia, TN / Full time / $20.00- $24.00 Per Hour starting wages Industrial Door, a structural steel products manufacturing company, is looking for structural welders with experience in production welding using Flux Core and Mig. Responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring equipment, and assessing welded components. This company is a large part of the architectural and structural parts manufacturing industry. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding equipment.. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail. Responsibilities Weld large components using 045 Flux Core Wire and 035 Mig Wire. Use specialized equipment for industrial welding and oversee equipment Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective hoods, and safety shoes Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Complete additional tasks as requested by the supervisor Experience A minimum of 1 year experience with FLUX CORE and MIG welding and/or a certification. Requirements Knowledge of welding equipment and hand tools Great communication skills Bend, reach, stoop, stand etc .10 hours Provide a clean drug screen Ability to become certified by company Work well in fast paced surroundings Work well with others and individually Have a reliable form of transportation A strong attention to detail Be able to work in non-climate controlled environment Lift and move 50 lbs
