40,000-80,000 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Stick Welder (Shielded Metal Arc Welding - SMAW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of metals, reading blueprints, and performing high-quality welds in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform stick welding (SMAW) on structural steel, pipe, or other materials as required Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols Set up welding equipment and ensure proper operation Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines Qualifications Proven experience as a Stick Welder (SMAW) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures Experience with grinders, cutting torches, and related tools Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors) High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred) Preferred Skills AWS certification (e.g., AWS D1.1 or similar) Experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial settings Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume along with any relevant certifications to [service@comservetn.com].
