MIG/TIG WELDERS

to join our growing team and support our operation and customer needs. Prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up and assembles parts to be welded. Tacks and/or welds metal parts together using both Mig and Tig welding equipment to complete an assembly or finished product. Repairs broken parts by welding them as assigned. Sets-up machinery for different welding jobs as required. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. Complies and supports company Quality policies and procedures. Follows safety rules and expectations and uses safe work practices. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of technical welding classes with hands on experience welding stainless steel preferred. Ability to pass employer performance welding test. Requires a great degree of precision and control where damage can be considerable. Considerable glare emits from work, requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with superiors and co-workers. Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols, etc. Basic mathematical measurement abilities including tape measure reading.
